Here’s the hotel openings in 2025 that we are most excited about in no particular order of preference. We look forward to visiting some of these in the coming year! 2025 is definitely an exciting year for new hotel openings!
1. Four Seasons Resort Mykonos
Located along the coastline of Kalo Livadi Bay, Four Seasons Resort Mykonos, Greece is set to open in Summer 2025. The resort will will offer 94 spacious rooms, villas and suites with exquisite views of the Aegean Sea. The location is ideal for those wanting to experience the best of Mykonos and not be in the middle of the noise of Mykonos town. The resort is not far from our stay at Cali Mykonos last year and offers a perfect location for a relaxing stay!

2. Rosewood Mandarina
Opening in April 2025, Rosewood Mandarina’s all-suite accommodations offer full immersion into the natural terrain of Riviera Nayarit! We cannot wait to visit this property on our trip to Mexico later this year. From mountainside vistas overlooking the ocean to lush jungle, a stunning beachfront, and the flatlands, Rosewood Mandarina is one to add to your bucket list! They have a great opening offer. 3. Capella Kyoto
On our recent stay at Capella Hanoi and visit to Capella Bangkok, we really loved the vibe and ambience. Now we cannot wait to visit this property. Opening in Q4 of 2025, the four-storey high and home to 92 rooms, Capella Kyoto pays homage to the city’s rich heritage through its curation of Japanese artworks and artefacts. This marks the debut of Capella in Japan and it looks very promising!

4. Aman Nai Lert Bangkok
One of the most anticipated openings of this year and Aman Nai Lert adds to Aman’s list of urban properties. Set to open in Autumn 2024, within the green oasis of Nai Lert Park, this 52-suite hotel offers guests a peerless experience of the Thai capital. Guests can experience expansive views of Nai Lert Park and Bangkok’s every-growing skyline and relax at the Aman Wellness spa!

5. Rosewood Amsterdam
After much push backs, Rosewood Amsterdam is set to open in Winter 2025. This is Rosewood’s first property in the Netherlands. Housed in the former Palace of Justice, Rosewood Amsterdam houses in a building of great architectural and historical significance. It overlooks the stunning Prinsengracht (the Prince’s Canal), part of the Amsterdam Canal’s district that is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. We cannot wait to visit once this finally opens!
