What is Peninsula PenClub?

The PenClub is the exclusive partner program of Peninsula Hotels where our clients receive VIP benefits and priority status at all Peninsula hotels.

Many Peninsula hotels are also Virtuoso properties. As a PenClub agent, we get direct access to a range of resources that help us curate the perfect trip for you at Peninsula properties.

We are able to:

Have direct contact with key associates at the property includes the Sales, Reservations and Concierge team, to ensure all your needs are taken care of and you receive a VIP treatment
Access unique local recommendations, inside tips, and timely details that can elevate your stay

Complimentary Breakfast for Two

Guests will receive daily complimentary full breakfast at a hotel restaurant for up to two guests, per bedroom. In most luxury properties, breakfast can add a substantial amount to the bill and hence this can be a real saving on the wallet!

Room Upgrade to the Next Category

One of the key benefits of PenClub is that you get a guaranteed room upgrade* from room to room or suite to suite at time of booking on select room categories.

Flexible check-in and check-out programme

PenClub guests receive early check-in from 10am and guaranteed late check-out until 4pm, subject to availability on the day. No extra charge, no request needed; it is built into your booking as a PenClub privilege.

$100 Food & Beverage or Spa Credit

Treat yourself to in-room dining, meals at the restaurant or spa treatments. Depending on the hotel and room type, the credit can vary. The $100 hotel credit is yours to use during the stay, and all are included in your PenClub benefits.

The credit may slightly vary due to local currency.

Welcome Amenity

A small gift is a great way to begin your stay. Welcome amenity upon arrival can include local snacks, fruits, champagne or a local souvenir. We work with the hotel to customise your welcome amenity. Hence why we really want to get to know our guests!

The hotel management, on behalf of us and Peninsula, will also share a welcome letter with you.

What do the extra benefits cost you?

Nothing!! Why? Well as we are a Peninsula PenClub partner, we are able to match any flexible rate for you and add benefits mentioned above. That is the great thing about our partnership with this luxury hotel chain. Beyond all this, we try our best to make you a VIP client of the hotel and ensure you’re well taken care of.

If you find a cheaper rate online (unlikely but possible!) then let us know and we’ll straight away get on the phone with our direct contacts at the hotel and ask them to match the cheaper rate for you AND also include Peninsula PenClub benefits as a result of our partnership with Peninsula Hotels.

You don’t pay us. You pay the hotel directly at check-out as you normally would.

Continue to accrue credit card points as you would otherwise booking directly. We love credit card points and want you to continue piling them up

Peninsula PenClub Rate vs Booking Direct: Which is Better?

One of the most common questions we get asked is whether booking a Peninsula PenClub rate is better than going directly to the hotel. The short answer is yes and here’s why.

When you book directly with a hotel, you pay the best available rate unless you book a package rate
When you book the same hotel through KP World Travels, as your Peninsula PenClub travel advisor, you pay the exact same rate but you also receive complimentary perks mentioned. On top of that, we contact the hotel in advance on your behalf to ensure you are treated as a VIP from the moment you check in
You get the flexible check-in option
You can still use your Amex or credit card offers at checkout
To put that in context breakfast for two at a luxury hotel typically costs between $60 and $100 per couple per day. Across a four-night stay, that alone is a saving of up to $400, before factoring in the hotel credit and upgrade

What is you found a cheaper rate elsewhere?

This is unlikely as Peninsula hotels generally doesn’t work with third-party sites and sell rooms at discount. However, if you did find a cheaper rate then let us know and we will get in touch with our Peninsula partners and secure a rate match AND add Peninsula PenClub benefits.

What if you already have a booking?

Get in touch with us. In most instances, we can modify the booking to add Peninsula PenClub benefits for you. In some cases, it might be better to cancel the booking and make a new booking, especially if the rates have dropped.
